In 1999, I got a call from a friend who asked if he could put me in touch with a pharmaceutical company in Europe that was seeking expansion to North America. It did not take much convincing for me to rise to the challenge - without much expertise in the field, I should mention. Armed only with the skills I gained from working in the industrial chemicals sector, and a steadfast belief in the quality of the API that the company was producing, I helped broker an important deal that is actually still in effect to this day.
It wasn’t easy.
There were many moments in the 5 years of development and negotiation when we were convinced that the deal would never see the light of day. But my associates and I persisted, and after our success in obtaining our first FDA approval in 2004, I decided to dedicate my time to developing pharma projects on a global scale.
Since then, my team and I have been working to develop new markets, to bring new technologies to fruition, and to help deliver the latest medicines and treatments to the people who need them most.
